Beth Santmyire-Rosenberger, MD, PhD
Founder & Board-Certified Dermatologist
Dr. Beth Santmyire-Rosenberger founded Appalachian Spring Dermatology in 2005. A native of Wiley Ford, West Virginia, she earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from WV Wesleyan College before completing both her MD and PhD in Physiology at West Virginia University in 2001. She completed her dermatology residency at Washington Hospital Center / Georgetown University in 2005, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Rosenberger is a past president of the West Virginia Dermatologic Society and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. She maintains board certification with the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Rosenberger has been married to her husband David for over 20 years and is the proud mother of Lily and Ella.
Aaron Santmyire, APRN-BC, DNP
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
Aaron Santmyire is an advanced practice registered nurse who provides comprehensive dermatologic care with a thoughtful, evidence-based approach. He works closely with the medical team to ensure patients receive personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs. Aaron is known for his calm demeanor, clear communication, and commitment to patient education. He takes time to explain options thoroughly so patients feel confident in their care decisions. He values teamwork and continuity of care and plays an essential role in delivering consistent, high-quality dermatology services across the practice.
Carissa Santmyire, RN
Registered Nurse
Carissa Santmyire has been serving patients at Appalachian Spring Dermatology since 2018. She is known for her clinical experience, warm personality, and ability to build strong relationships with patients. She performs laser hair removal, CoolSculpting®, and BOTOX® treatments, focusing on patient comfort and natural-looking results. Carissa enjoys helping patients feel confident and informed throughout their treatment journey. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her son and visiting the beach, always practicing sun-safe habits.
Gretchin
Billing Coordinator & Laser Technician
Gretchin joined Appalachian Spring Dermatology in 2011 and has served in many roles throughout the practice, including receptionist and medical assistant. She currently works as the billing coordinator and supports multiple areas of the office. She also performs Excimer laser treatments and assists wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly. Her versatility and experience make her an invaluable team member. Gretchin is known for her reliability, organization, and dedication to ensuring patients receive accurate and efficient support.
Cherish
Aesthetic Coordinator & Front Office Assistant
Cherish joined the practice in 2020 and serves at the front office as well as the aesthetic coordinator. She assists patients with scheduling, services, and overall care coordination. She performs facials and microneedling treatments and is the resident expert on products available in the Spring Boutique. Cherish enjoys helping patients choose the right skincare solutions for their needs. Her positive attitude and welcoming presence help create a friendly, supportive environment for every patient visit.
